- 1Brown chicken thighs in pot, then set aside.
- 2Sauté onion until soft, add garlic and turmeric.
- 3Add rice and stir to coat. Pour in broth and return chicken to pot.
- 4Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered 20 minutes.
- 5Add peas and raisins, cook 5 minutes more.
- 6Fluff with butter and serve immediately.
