Mango Sticky Rice
Transport your taste buds to the tropics with this iconic and simple Thai dessert, Mango Sticky Rice. Glutinous rice is steamed until tender and chewy, then soaked in a sweet, salty coconut sauce that infuses every grain with flavor. It's served alongside slices of perfectly ripe, fragrant mango. A final drizzle of rich, slightly thickened coconut cream and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds or mung beans adds the finishing touch. The combination of warm, sweet rice and cool, juicy mango is pure magic. This dessert is surprisingly easy to make at home and is the perfect light, refreshing, and gluten-free way to end any Asian-inspired meal or to satisfy a sweet craving.
