Pan-Seared Garlic Herb Butter Basted Steak
Master the art of the perfect steak at home with this Garlic Herb Butter Basted Steak technique. A thick-cut ribeye or strip steak is seasoned simply, then seared in a blazing hot cast-iron skillet to develop an incredible, flavorful crust. The magic happens when butter, whole garlic cloves, and fresh rosemary and thyme are added to the pan. As you continuously spoon the foaming, aromatic butter over the steak, it bastes the meat, infusing it with rich, herbal flavors and ensuring a juicy, tender interior. This method creates a steak that rivals any high-end steakhouse. Serve it sliced against the grain for a dramatic, delicious presentation that's perfect for a special date night or celebratory dinner at home.
