- 3Add fresh basil leaves (reserve some for garnish) and simmer for 10 minutes.
- 4Use an immersion blender to puree the soup until smooth.
- 5Stir in cooking cream and season with salt and pepper. Heat through but do not boil.
- 6Serve garnished with fresh basil leaves.
